Breaking my foot was, by far, one of the best things that ever happened to me. And, even though I set my crutches aside over a year ago, there’s something about forced seclusion that makes you want to suck the marrow out of life as soon as you’re able to walk the world again.

It also makes you braver. Have I always wanted to do this with all my heart but was too scared because “what if I fail?”, “what if they laugh at me?”, “what if I succeed?” – [add your own personal monster]. But why waste time when you’ve already been indoors for half a year? Take the plunge. Just do it. #YOLO.

So, having known this gorgeous song for ages, I found out that the right words Sarah sings us about may not always be verbal.
Act according to your truth and the rest will follow. And, once you start walking down that yellow brick road, you’ll very likely run into lady Serendipity, winking at you as if to say “Yep, this is where you should be. Glad you heard us whispering.”
